What is a past life and why is it important to know about?

As a kid I was massively fascinated by reincarnation. The whole idea of dying and then being born again into another body resonated massively with me. In 2009 I went for a past life regression with a lady called Mary Stapleton, I think, and was shocked by what came up. She guided me into a deep meditation before asking me what was on my feet. I remember thinking, just my socks, before having this moment where I was like, ah, she means in my past life. All of a sudden I could see black boots. She guided me through the rest of my wear. Red jodhpurs, a tight red shirt with gold on it, a beard and thick, curly, wiry hair. I was a man. Where was I? she asked me. Dourdogne came into my head. Where the frigg was that? What was I doing there? I was a soldier, protecting the King and Queen of France. I had a wife and child living in a small hut in the forest. What was I meant to learn in this lifetime from that one? I had sacrificed my time to royalty and had gone off to fight. Unfortunately it cost me my family, as when I returned the hut was burnt down and I couldn’t find my wife or child. At the time I was working for Tesco doing 40-50 hours a week and rarely saw my family. The lesson I was meant to learn was not to sacrifice my time for work or duty at the detriment to my family. It was intense and something I carried with me for a while. It took me another four years to quit my full time job.

Our past lives are carried within the cell memory of who we currently are. Scientifically, I can’t prove this, but there is a remembrance. I started doing past life readings for people around 2019. Past lives were starting to come through when I was doing 121 healing sessions. People who had been witches, killed by horses who had fears of horses, soldiers in WW2. As I shared what had come up in a healing session I thought, maybe I can access peoples past lives and offer readings. Whenever I learnt a new skill I would ask for guinea pigs. Ten guinea pigs later and I was shocked. Many people said they had either been told something before or it made sense. Doing past life readings is a bit like being a time traveller. You get to visit different countries and different time periods. I have been to Lemuria, Egypt, Iceland, America and can see who someone was, their family and what lessons they need to learn in this lifetime.

When you choose to begin looking into your past lives, it can bring up a lot of stuff. Over the last few years I have discovered that I was a priestess in Lemuria, killed by a jealous boyfriend, a servant girl in Victorian England who killed herself by jumping out of a window at 21, a woman in Greece who was ostracised by a jealous older man. ( I woke up one morning to hear the words, You Fucking Whore loudly in my ear. When I sat down to meditate this whole past life came up connected to a guy I knew) I have been a French soldier and a hippy in the 60’s, which might not come as a surprise to those who know me.

What these past life insights have taught me massively is that I have been carrying ‘stuff’ from the minute I chose to incarnate on this planet. A plant medicine journey took me to a stone coffin, where I could see myself alone and dying in the early 1400’s. It was intense but I was also given the message that we never die alone, which I find comfort in. We have so many lessons to learn in this lifetime and some of the ‘stuff’ we carry can be from past lives.

Do you know who you were in a past life? If you would like to book a mini past life reading which lasts approx 15 mins, sent via WhatsApp drop me an email. All I need is your name and number. Or comment below if this is something you have already explored
