About Me

Welcome in! I wanted to share with you some of my own journey thus far. Having begun my own journey studying for a degree in International Business then entering the world of retail whilst also learning tools to counteract the stress of working there, Reiki, Angels, crystals & tarot cards, I finally left to pursue my own business in 2010. Since then I have learnt the various tools needed to be a spiritual entrepreneur. From building my own blog to managing social media, starting my own YouTube channel to writing & self publishing 4 books and cofounding Temple Woman Publishing. Our journeys are all unique & one thing I am passionate about is sharing my own experiences, in the hope they help others to feel supported on their journey and empowered.

My Spiritual Awakening

I lost my best friend, Lisa to cancer on my 36th birthday. Several months later I started going through a divorce process and we both lived together for a six month period. This for me was my Dark Night of the Soul period, although I didn’t realise it until after I was out of it. I moved house with my children and 12 months later was facing homelessness. Thankfully I found somewhere a week before I was due to move out. These huge life experiences happened to me within an 18 month period. The loss of my friend woke me up to life. I had become emotionally numb to life. I couldn’t remember the last time I had cried or laughed or allowed myself to feel any emotions. I had suppressed them and pushed them far away. Some people talk about a dark night of the soul. It is a misleading term as this doesn’t happen in a night, it can last weeks or months. It feels heavy. Tears come. I was lucky. I had a set of tools that I used to get me through this dark time in my life. I shared these in my book, A Gentle Hug for the Soul as I wanted people to know what was out there to help them. I feel as if these tools can provide a basic solid foundation for getting through this Dark Night of the Soul.

In order to get through it I utilised every tool I had in my spiritual toolbox. I had read about mindfulness, meditation but wasn’t practising it. I started to meditate, to connect with myself again. Speaking with Angels, using crystals, practising Reiki on myself. I did what I could to get me through a difficult, dark time. And I did get through it. When I came out the other side I knew I had to put these tools into a book so others could utilise them to help them on their path. A Gentle Hug for the Soul was born in Oct 2018. You can check it out here https://amzn.to/35UFqYD

Post awakening

I would love to say that’s it. You awaken and life is simple, a bed of roses, whatever analogy you want to use. It isn’t. The awakening of your soul is just the beginning. The beginning of your own spiritual journey, which will take you through many bends and turns and there will be many opportunities to heal, which brings in itself many opportunities and adventures

My own spiritual journey has continued and developed since my initial awakening. As the Universe/Upstairs/Source continues to guide me on my path I continue to write down my experiences and the tools so they will become a guide for others. My hope is that when my children are older and read it, it helps them make sense of who they are at a soul level.

As we awaken ourselves to who we truly are, we become more at peace with ourselves. When we stop doing what we think we should be doing and instead learn to be who we truly are.

When we heal ourselves, we are also healing our relationships, our family, our children, our friends, our colleagues.

I empower starseeds and lightworkers to discover their unique gifts and allow these to shine so they may be of service to others, to speak their truth and align with their purpose.

My core values

  • I communicate with integrity and authenticity
  • I channel energy and spirits with kindness and openness
  • I create with love, honesty and fun
  • I work on me so I can be the clearest conduit for energy and spirit
  • I speak my truth and encourage others to do the same

What am I passionate about?

Sharing knowledge, wisdom and experience. Whether this is through my books, my YouTube channel, teachings or retreats. We all started somewhere and there is always someone out there who has been through what you may be going through. When I started along my spiritual path it felt very lonely, so I created a Facebook group, Consciousness Arising, to find my tribe. It was one of the best things I ever did. I began connecting with others who were on a similar path, some who knew so much more than I did, some who were fairly new. We are all learning together on this journey of life. Sometimes people help us and sometimes we help others. I don’t have all the answers and by no means am I perfect. I feel I have one foot in this realm and one in another. I am grounded and face similar challenges in my human existence as many others. What I share are the tools which have helped me along the way, in the hope they may help others.

Back in the summer of 2021 I was dancing in a field. The sun was shining, the music was very tribal, as I was stomping away I heard two words in my head. Temple Woman. What’s that? I thought. Little did I realise then it was the beginning of something big! Over the next couple of months I brainstormed, connected with others and began to share my ideas. Temple Woman was to become a group, set up to empower women and reconnect them to their inner knowing. We have so much knowledge and wisdom within us that is bursting to get out there. The group is still in the initial stages but it feels so amazing and inspiring to be working with other women to create new ways of being and living.

I believe in big dreams. What is yours? I am a cheerleader and dream holder. I don’t believe that anything is out of our reach .My vision is to have a space to use for retreats, workshops and to live in community. Having lived in a caravan since June 2021 I know this lifestyle is for me and my family. To reconnect to nature and the Earth. To reconnect to our inner knowing. To reconnect to others. To have space to be self sustainable. To dance, to grow together. As I continue along my journey I will be sharing my knowledge via my blog posts, YouTube channel, Instagram and Tiktok. I am trialling out a podcast too.

I hope you enjoy this new space & my new blog!

Success! You're on the list.
